NEW EARRINGSTIT BITS FOR YOUR NIPS
Nipple piercings can take some time to fully heal all the way through so it's recommended to wait at least 4-6 months before the first change over, for some the healing process can take up to a year. Following the advice of your body piercer is important to minimise infection and to encourage a speedy healing time. Due diligence is required for good hygiene and caring of the wound throughout the full healing process using a saline spray 2-3 times a day and/or salt water soaking. During this time it's also recommended that you avoid any foreplay with the nipple as bacteria can be transferred via the mouth and hands.
For women the most common length of barbell for initial piercings is 16mm, and for men, the most common initial length is 12mm, however, everyones anatomy is different and for this reason, nipple rings are available in sizes as small as 6mm up to as long as 25mm.
To establish your preferred size, once fully healed, measure the length of the barbell you're currently wearing, measuring only the post length between the balls, do not include the balls in your measurement. If your current piece is a little too long or too tight you can adjust your preferred size based on the measurement and fit of your current piece of jewellery.
